When Muslim greet, they say Aslam o Alaikum! Its sense is peace be upon you. Hence Islam is a religion of peace. Islam is the greatest gift of Allah جَلَّ جَلَالُهٌ to humanity. Therefore we must be thankful to him. Allah has granted us so much by making the Ummah of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. We must become true Muslims and obey the sacred sunnah of the Holy Prophet SAW. The only knowledge he comes to understand the primary teaching of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Without this, how can one faith in him and practice Islam? Islam is a religion of books, and acknowledgment is necessary. Holy Quran’s first word, which was revealed upon Prophet Muhammad, was “Iqra.” “Iqra” means “Read,” which was extended later to a complete Surah name as Surah Alaq. As in this surah:
Read! In the Name of your Allah Who has created. He has created man from a clot. Read! And your Allah is the Most Generous, Who has taught by the Pen. He has taught man that which he don’t know.
Surah Alaq
In different Surah, Allaah almightly emphasises learning. Which we can see clearly in some verses as below:
Are those equal, those who know and those who do not know?
Surah Al-Zumr verse 09
Allah gives knowledge to whom He pleases and to whom knowledge is given; indeed, he receives an overflowing benefit.
Surah Al-Baqarah verse 29
About learning Holy Prophet Muhammad Saw also said:
The position of only two persons is excellent; the person whom Allah conferred wealth empowers him to spend it in the way of goodness, and the person whom Allah gave wisdom with which he found and teaches to others.

Narrated from Ibn Abbas RA: Prophet Muhammad SAW said:
A single scholar of religion is more formidable against Shaytaan than a thousand devout persons.
