Staying Strong

Staying strong is an important part of life. It is especially important in the Islamic faith, where believers are called upon to stay strong in the face of hardship. Allah and His Prophet(ﷺ) guide us in the Quran and Hadith to stay strong in difficult times. In the Holy Quran, Allah has promised believers that if they remain steadfast in their faith, He will provide them with strength. Allah says:

“O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient”

Quran 2:153

Staying strong is important part of faith in Islam, as it is tool of facing and defeating life’s challenges. The verse 2:153 of the Quran is a reminder to believers that true strength comes from patience and prayer. It is important to remember that Allah will provide them with strength if they remain steadfast in their faith. Our beloved Prophet (ﷺ) also guide us on how to stay strong. The Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Whoever is patient, Allah will make them strong.”


This Hadith is a reminder to believers that patience is the key to developing strength. Those who are patient in difficult times will definitely get strength and success in life. As Allah‘s help is with those who show patience and steadfastness in His tests. In addition to patience, the above Hadith also encourages believers to seek help from Allah.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Seek help from Allah and do not lose hope.”


This is common practice that in time of difficulties people with weak faith lose hope and in result all efforts to way forward. Prophet(ﷺ) encourages believers in above Hadith to seek help from Allah in difficult times and not to despair. But question is when will Allah provide this strength and guidance? Answer is that when we want it, when we ask for it and when we struggle for it. Finally, the Prophet () encouraged believers to remember that Allah is always with them.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “

No one is ever alone. If a person is in a state of distress, Allah is with him.”


Allah is always with true believers and will provide them with strength and guidance in times of difficulty. In conclusion, Islamic faith encourage to stay strong in life. The Quran and the Hadith provide guidance to the path which lead believer to be a strong and healthy human being. A human with such character always stay strong in difficult times, Allah has promised believers that He will provide them with strength if they remain steadfast in their faith. Important thing is to seek help from Allah and have faith that He is always with believers. With patience, prayer, and the help of Allah, believers can stay strong in difficult times.

  5. Surround yourself with positive influences: Being around people who support and encourage you can help boost your morale and provide emotional strength.
  6. Take care of yourself: Taking care of one’s physical and mental health is also emphasized in Islam. Eating well, exercising regularly, and seeking professional help when needed can help strengthen one’s overall well-being.

Remember that staying strong is not about never feeling weak or vulnerable. It’s about acknowledging those feelings and finding the strength to persevere through them. Islam involves a combination of faith, knowledge, perseverance, community, and focus on the ultimate goal of pleasing Allah and achieving success in the hereafter.
