Almighty Allah loves good deeds in Dhul Hijjah more than anyone. We must not waste a single moment of this month. Following are the list of things to do in Dhul hijjah.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “There are no days during which the righteous deed is so pleasing to Allah than these days (i.e., the first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah) Bhukari

Salah

  • Offer prayer on time and on earlier times.
  • Offer namaz with more humility and submissiveness.
  • Recite different surah in Salah.
  • Offer ishraq and chast prayers and build habit for the next life.
  • Start offering tahajud prayer with prolong recitations.

Quran

  • Recite the Quran and make a routine of it.
  • Memorize more surahs and recite in Salah.
  • Learn the translation and explanation of the Quran.
  • Make a list of to-do things from Quran and bring it all in practice.
  • Teach others what you learn from the Quran.

Fasting

Fasting in the first nine days of Dhul Hijjah, especially on Mondays, Thursdays and ninth dhul hajj.

Abu Qatadah narrated that the Prophet(PBUH) said: “Fasting on the Day of Arafah, I hope from Allah, compensates for the sins of the year before and the year after.

Charity

  • Paying zakat is obligatory, if one has not paid yet must pay in these days.
  • Other than zakat, charity is also of much importance, it has its rewards.
  • So, spend on poor, needy and helpless people.
  • Do spend on family members and relatives.

Salman bin ‘Amir narrated that the Prophet(PBUH) said: “Giving charity to a poor person is a charity, and to a relative is two things, charity and upholding the ties of kinship.

Dhikar and Dua

The Prophet(PBUH)said: There are no days on which righteous deeds are bigger or more beloved to Allah than done on these ten days, so recite much Tahmeed(Alhamdulillah) Tahleel(Laa ilaaha ill-Allah) and Takbeer(Allahu Akbar).

Eid and Sacrifice

  • Offer Eid prayer in Eidgah with enthusiasm and be grateful to Allah.
  • Sacrifice animals after eid prayer.
  • Eat meat and also feed others.
  • Share these happy moments with friends and relatives.

Hazrat Aishah (RA) narrated that Allah‘s Messenger (PBUH) said: “Eid al-Fitr is the day on which the people break the fast, and al-Adha(Eid al Adha) is the day the people offer sacrifices.”

Cash every second

  • This is, much blessed month, so cash every second with good deeds.
  • Avoid sins minor and major both.
  • Avail every chance to have a good deed.
  • Help others, and do social work.
